premiere – Digital Renaissance: Imaging the Iliad

Be one of the first to see the newest from UK’s Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments (VIS Center), in association with The Center for Hellenic Studies of Harvard University: Digital Renaissance: Imaging the Iliad. The film will premiere at 3pm on Dec. 9 in the WT Young Library Auditorium. (Actually, at 3pm they’ll serve refreshments; at 3:30pm the film presentation will begin.) The program features a team that attempts to create a digital image of the oldest surviving manuscript of Homer’s Iliad.

The film is a part of The Homer Multitext project. If you miss the premiere, you can catch it on KET in January.
