Panic! (not)

Whether you’re concerned about widespread illness affecting class attendance swine-flu-panic-buttonand need ideas for alternative assignments or communications, or if you just want to know more about how others are using technology in their courses, then join us for one of TASC’s half-hour sessions featuring University of Kentucky instructors.

All workshops are on Fridays at 3pm in Funkhouser 200 (the doors are located on either side of the central elevator in Funkhouser). Register by emailing date and session plus your name to (walk-ins are welcome; registrations are appreciated).

A flyer is available for viewing, for posting, or for emailing to others. After each session we will make the audio on UK’s iTunes U.

  • Nov. 6 – Blogs in Blackboard with Linda Worley and Anne Policastri
  • Nov. 13 – Audio/Video Tutorials with Kim Woodrum using Camtasia and audio recording in a “smart” classroom
  • Nov. 20 – Online Library Resources with Stacey Greenwell

Coming in December and January – Social Media/The Big Blue Network; Wikis and a separate session on Wikis in Blackboard; and iTunes U. Watch the TASC Calendar for dates at (click on Calendar in right column).
